It’s always been something company’s have been aware of, but now we are hearing our employees talk about #MeToo and everyone is taking notice. Alyssa Milano may have encouraged the spreading of the phrase, but according to Wikipedia the phrase was created on Myspace by social activist, Tarana Burke in 2006. On Facebook, the hastag was used by more the 4.7 million people in 12 million posts during the first 24 hours. The power of social media never ceases to amaze.
